El pasado Abril tuve el placer de compartir el estudio con Celine Winterberger, una creadora afincada en Basel con un profundo interés por las técnicas manuales y por la exploración artística. Su visita fue posible gracias a la plataforma Vawaa (Vacation With An Artist), que conecta a creativos de todo el mundo con estudios de artistas para experiencias inmersivas. Si no la conoces deberías hacerlo porque hay muchísimos buenos planes que te gustaría explorar, estoy segura.
Durante una semana Celine se sumergió en la técnica de la escultura en pasta de papel. Le interesaba aprender a modelar figura humana y juntas investigamos los las posibilidades de este material. Su sensibilidad artística y curiosidad hicieron que el proceso fluyera de manera natural, compartimos además muy buenas charlas durante las sesiones en el taller.

Last April, I had the pleasure of sharing my studio with Celine Winterberger, a Basel-based creator with a deep interest in manual techniques and artistic exploration. Her visit was made possible by Vawaa (Vacation With An Artist), a platform connecting creatives worldwide with artists' studios for immersive experiences. For a week, Celine immersed herself in the technique of papier mache clay sculpture. She was interested in learning how to model the human figure, and together we explored the possibilities of this material. Her artistic sensibility and curiosity made the process flow naturally, and we also had some great conversations during the sessions in the studio.
Castelo Studio está ubicado en la bonita aldea de Castelo, al pie del Monte Xalo. Me gusta escaparme hasta la cima con mis invitadas para enseñarles el encanto del paisaje Gallego dese allí arriba. Es una fortuna tener un lugar así de especial tan cerca.

Castelo Studio is located in the beautiful village of Castelo, on a hillside of Monte Xalo. I like to escape to the hilltop with my guests to show them the charm of the Galician landscape from up there. It's a blessing to have such a special place so close by.
